KEY MOMENTS
- AIC had the best scoring chance in a scoreless first half, but Neal dove to his right to make a save on a blast from Hannes Vidstrom from in close in the final 15 minutes.
- The Penmen scored the goal on a fast break in which Perez headed the ball on the right side to Kraft, who put the ball right on Perez' left foot with a centering pass. His shot found the right corner of the net.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen had an 8-7 shot advantage, including a 4-3 edge on shots on goal.
- SNHU had five corner kicks and the Yellow Jackets had three.
- AIC goalie Lucas Morales-Fernandez made three saves.
NOTES
- The Penmen lead the all-time series with the Yellow Jackets 24-2-1 and are unbeaten in the last 18 (17-0-1) against AIC.
- The Yellow Jackets were coming off a 1-1 tie with #2 Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday.
- SNHU improves to 3-0 in Northeast-10 play for the first time since the 2018 season when they opened conference play 5-0.
- Neal has 14 shutouts in 36 career games with the Penmen, including five in six games this season.
- Perez, playing in just his second game of the season, scored his second goal. He also tallied at Saint Michael's College on Wednesday in the 2-0 win.
- SNHU is 137-38-24 (.749) over its last 199 matches dating back to the beginning of the 2013 National Championship season.
