 KEY MOMENTS
  • With the game tied early, six straight from Southern New Hampshire guided it out to an 11-5 lead just under five-and-a-half minutes in. American International responded with 11-in-a-row, however, to seize a 16-11 advantage just past the midway point of the opening half. A 10-4 run – highlighted by a pair of Fricas 3-pointers – flipped SNHU into the lead at 21-20 with 7:01 remaining. Five lead changes and a pair of ties followed, before another Fricas triple sparked a half-ending 7-2 spurt that sent the Penmen to the break with a 35-32 edge.
  • The margin was three a little more than halfway through the second stanza when six points from freshman Dante Green (Dix Hills, N.Y.) and four from Greene and powered a 14-2 blitz that gave SNHU its largest advantage of the contest at 69-54 with 2:48 to go.
