COLCHESTER, Vt. – Sophomore Marcos Castaneda (Madrid, Spain) posted a win at No. 5 singles to clinch a 5-2 victory for the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team against Saint Michael's College on Sunday afternoon at the SMC Tennis Courts.

- SNHU led, 3-2, when Castaneda defeated Simon Lundholm, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), at No. 5 singles.
NOTES
- Castaneda also teamed with junior Carlos Molero (Barcelona, Spain) to edge Ferm Koppelmans and Richard Lin, 7-5, at No. 3 doubles, which clinched the doubles point.
- Sophomore Vicente Preto (Sesimbra, Portugal) is a perfect 5-0 in dual matches this season after his 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Viktor Boban at No. 1 singles.
- Castaneda is 3-0 on the year.
- SNHU leads the all-time series with Saint Michael's, 21-6, and has won 20 of the last 21 meetings. SNHU has also won eight of nine on the road in the series.
