The Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team dropped a 3-2 double-overtime decision at St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon, but secured the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Northeast 10 Championship. The Penmen will travel to fourth-seeded Bentley University for a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, November 4 at 6:00 p.m.
KEY MOMENT
After Southern New Hampshire rallied to tie the game late in regulation on a goal from junior Kendall Dubois (Goffstown, N.H.), St. Thomas Aquinas was awarded a penalty stroke in the second overtime. Clemence Papleux converted at 71:08 to lift the Spartans to the win.
