Senior Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.) put the Penmen on the board in the 28th minute and that wound up being all the scoring in the match, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team defeated Adelphi University, 1-0, Saturday at Ouellette Stadium to clinch an NE10 postseason spot on Senior Day.

KEY MOMENTS
  • Greene's goal came 27:52 into the match when the Penmen took advantage of an Adelphi giveaway in its own zone. Junior Avary Hall (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) collected the errant pass and dropped the ball to Greene, who fired a shot from 25 yards out that snuck over the head of the diving Panther 'keeper. She was able to get a hand on it, but not enough of one to keep it out of the net.
  • A 39th-minute defensive save at the right post by sophomore Avery Fitcher (Concord, N.H.) kept the Panthers off the board.
