Sophomore Jordyn Carroll (Moultonborough, N.H.) contributed five kills and 11 digs, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team fell to cross-town rival Saint Anselm College, 3-0, Tuesday evening at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.
NOTES
- Freshman Sophie Chevalier (Charlton, N.Y.) matched Carroll's five kills.
- Senior Alexandra Friebolin (Plant City, Fla.) tallied four kills, two aces and a pair of blocks.
- Graduate student Meri Ibrahimi (Woburn, Mass.) paced the team with 12 digs.
- SNHU still leads the all-time series with Saint Anselm, 33-31, but has now last two-in-a-row following a three-match winning streak halted. The Penmen have also dropped two straight at Saint Anselm, after absorbing another three-set loss there back on Sept. 17.
- Saint Anselm earns a point in the Queen City Cup standings, but SNHU still leads, 8-7, in the battle for Manchester supremacy.
