The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team turned in a solid showing Saturday at the NCAA East Regional Championship, held at Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. The Penmen finished 11th overall out of 17 teams, led by senior
Dillon Labonte (Lee, N.H.) who earned an individual berth to the NCAA Division II National Championship.

- Labonte placed fourth overall in a time of 32:09.58, securing an individual qualifier spot for the upcoming NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Championship in Kenosha, Wis. on November 22.

- Junior Alex Labrecque (Hooksett, N.H.) – 95th place, 37:56.89
- Freshman Jackson Bock (Danbury, Conn.) – 92nd place, 37:22.47
- Jonathan Volpe of Southern Connecticut State won the 10k race in 31:02.78, leading the Owls to the team title with 34 points. Roberts Wesleyan finished second and will also advance to the National Championship.
