 KEY MOMENTS
  • Southern New Hampshire jumped out to an 8-2 lead – highlighted by 3-pointers from Fricas and Brathwaite – over the opening two-and-a-half minutes, before American Int'l responded by scoring 23 of the next 32 to leap in front, 25-17 with 7:36 remaining. SNHU hit back with a 13-2 blitz – led by six from Greene – to go on top, 30-27, with 3:35 to go. Two ties and a pair of lead changes followed, with senior Kurtis Henderson (Brockton, Mass.) knocking down a jumper with just under a minute on the clock to send the Penmen to the break with a 35-34 edge.
  • After AIC scored the first points of the second half just 11 seconds in, SNHU reeled off 11-in-a-row – with Fricas contributing five and Greene adding four – to seize a 46-36 lead with 16:50 to go. The Yellow Jackets had whittled their deficit to five over a minute later when a 9-2 run – powered by seven from Harris – moved the lead to 57-45 for the Penmen with under 12 minutes remaining.
  • Following six-in-a-row from the hosts, the Penmen ripped off 10 straight, including six from Green, to grab their largest lead of the contest at 67-51 with 5:35 left. AIC would not go quietly, however, going on a 16-3 tear to pull within 70-67 with two seconds to go. Fricas would drain a free throw to seal it.
