Blake Wozniak (Garden Grove, Calif.) each scored twice, but Southern New Hampshire Men's Lacrosse dropped an 11-9 decision to Saint Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon.

KEY MOMENTS
- Blouin tallied with 7:20 left in the first period to tie the game at 1-1.
- A goal by Lynch from sophomore Kyle Beckett (Monroe, Conn.) brought the Penmen to within 3-2 at the end of the first quarter.
- STAC attacker Cam Wallace scored his fourth goal of the game to make it 4-2.
- Goals by Gallo and two by Wozniak rallied the Penmen into the lead 5-4 at halftime.
- SNHU played much of the second half with a two-goal lead, including 9-7 on Dwyer's second of the game with 11:45 to play.
- The Spartans would outscore the Penmen 4-0 for the remainder of the contest, scoring three times in 1:35 of the final quarter to secure the win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen took 51 shots to 25 for STAC.
- SNHU went 1-for-8 in man-up situations compared to 0-for-3 for the Spartans.
- STAC had a 31-29 advantage on ground balls and won 14 of 23 face-offs.
- The Penmen went 16-for-17 on clear attempts, and the Spartans were 17-of-26.
- Senior Patrick Cassidy (Chelmsford, Mass.) made six saves for SNHU, while Hayden Gaudette had 20 saves for the Spartans.

- This was the first meeting between SNHU and Saint Thomas Aquinas College.
- The win was the first at STAC for first-year coach Jack Spallone.
- Kostandin's goal was the first of his career.
- Gallo has the team lead with 11 points (five goals, six assists), and Dwyer's six goals lead the Penmen.
