Men's lacrosse overcame a slow start and put together a solid second half, but still fell 11-10 at Lynn University on Saturday in Boca Raton, Fla. Sophomore
Ryan Lynch (Derry, N.H.) led the Penmen with two goals and an assist.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Fighting Knights struck for the game's first goal 12 seconds into the contest and rolled to a 7-1 lead by the end of the first quarter.
- Cunningham connected with a low drive from the left slot for SNHU's lone goal in the initial period.
- The Penmen cut the Lynn lead to 7-4 with a goal by Roy and two by Ryan Lynch with 10:00 to play in the half.
- SNHU scored three goals to open the second half. Wozniak, Beckett, and Wozniak again scored to bring the Penmen to within 9-7.
- Jackson Cutter, who scored four times on the day for Lynn, made it 10-7 with 5:19 to play in the third quarter.
- Senior Gavin Kostandin (Exeter, N.H.) scored with 1:11 left in the third to bring the Penmen to within 10-8.
- Cutter gave the Fighting Knights an 11-8 lead early in the fourth quarter.
- The Penmen responded with goals by Dwyer and redshirt freshman Nate Pedrick (Londonderry, N.H.) to close to 11-10 with 8:11 to play.
- Pedrick sped down the field after picking up a ground ball in front of the SNHU goal and fired the scoring shot.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Lynn had a 43-28 shot advantage for the contest and a 27-24 edge on ground balls.
- Lynn won 18 of 25 face-offs.
- SNHU went 0-for-2 in man-up situations, but Kostandin's goal came just after a Lynn card.
- Lynn had 20 turnovers and SNHU had 18 with the Fighting Knights successful on 14-18 clears. The Penmen were 22-of-25.
- Cassidy made 11 saves playing the first quarters in goal. Sophomore Matt Roy (North Andover, Mass.) made one save while playing the fourth quarter.
NOTES
- This was the first meeting between SNHU and Lynn University.
- Cunningham's goal and assist were his first career points.
- Kostandin and Pedrick each have two goals.
- Dwyer leads the Penmen with seven goals, and Lynch has 12 points to lead the squad.
