Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.) homered three times in Softball's 13-3 win in the first game of the Saturday's doubleheader at Molloy. SNHU went to extra innings to win the nightcap 11-7 to complete the sweep.

GAME 1: SNHU 13, Molloy 3
- The Penmen scored four times in the first inning and never trailed en route to the win.
- Junior Peyton Feldman (Foxboro, Mass.) started the game with a single and Resetar followed with a double. Senior Mackenzie Bruggeman (Trumbull, Conn.) walked to load the bases.
- DeMoura singled home a run, Lineman had a sacrifice fly, and Jenkins delivered a two-run single.
- Resetar hit the first of her three homers to make it 5-0 in the second inning.
- Alto had a two-run single through the left side with two outs in the top of the fifth inning to extend the lead to 7-0.
- Resetar homered in the bottom of the fifth, and hit a three-run shot in the top of the seventh inning.
- Freitas improved to 6-3 with a complete-game effort, allowing three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
GAME 2: SNHU 11, Molloy 7 (9 innings)
- SNHU put together three consecutive doubles by Donovan, Lineman, and Jenkins to score four runs in the top of the third inning for a 4-0 lead.
- The Lions battled back with a five spot in the bottom of the frame, capped by a two-run homer by Stevie Dabbadie off SNHU sophomore starter Julianna Colbert (Burrillville, R.I.).
- The Penmen reclaimed the lead at 6-5 in the top of the fifth inning. After a single by Lineman and a Jenkins walk, sophomore Kennedy Craigue (Bow, N.H.) laid down a successful bunt.
- That set the stage for a two-run single through the right side by Alto.
- An RBI double by Resetar in the top of the seventh inning gave SNHU a 7-5 lead, but the Lions scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.
- The Lions left two on-base in the bottom of the eighth as Donovan was able to work out of trouble.
- In the top of the ninth, Jenkins reached on an error and scored the go-ahead run on a single by Craigue.
- Resetar had another two-run double, and DeMoura delivered a run with a double to complete the four-run frame.
- Donovan (W, 4-0) set down the Lions in order in the bottom of the inning to secure the win and the sweep.
NOTES
- SNHU leads the all-time series with Molloy 15-10. The teams had split a doubleheader last season in Melbourne, Fla.
- The 24 runs in the doubleheader marked a season-high for runs in a day.
- Resetar's three homer game may be a first for the program. Her three homers match her season-high totals from 2022 and 2024.
- SNHU has scored 130 runs in the first 20 games (6.5 per game) with a team batting average of .317.
- Lineman leads the team with a .387 average, three homers, 26 RBIs, and has at least one hit in 12 of the last 13 games.
- The Penmen matched a season-high with 14 hits in the opener, and then broke that mark with 17 hits in the second game.
