Senior Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.) fired a 2-under 68 in the second round, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team finished 12th through two rounds of the Trevecca Nazarene University Music City Invitational on Monday at Hermitage Golf Course.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS
- Pepin was 7-over after 18 holes and is tied for 39th with a 5-over 145.
- Freshman Andrew Surprenant (Boscawen, N.H.) is just behind with a 6-over 146 after opening with a 72 and finishing Monday with a 74.
- Junior Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) recorded a 74 and a 73 for a two-round total of 147.
- Junior Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) totaled a 148 (75/73).
- Graduate student Alex Korkuc (So. Setauket, N.Y.) had his 80 dropped from the first round team score, but bounced back with a 74 in round No. 2 and notched a 154.
NOTES
- Sophomore Mitchell Cormier (Walpole, N.H.), playing as an individual, collected a 79 and 73, in the two respective rounds, for a 152.
- Hillsdale College (559) is in first place, just a single shot ahead of Union (Tenn.) University (560).
- Hillsdale's Filippo Reale sits atop the individual leaderboard at 8-under 132, with a trio lurking closely at 136.
- The Music City Invitational is comprised of 92 golfers from 17 different institutions.
