Graduate Student Katelyn Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) notched six points, including her 100th goal in an SNHU uniform, and the Penmen defense allowed just three shots on net, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team breezed to an 18-2 victory against American International College on Wednesday night at Abdow Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern New Hampshire received a goal from nine different scorers to jump out to a 9-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Penmen made it 10 different scorers to open the second quarter and then 11 different scorers on their first 12 strikes, before going to the break with a 13-0 advantage.
- After Hadden made it 14-0 just 2:31 in, AIC struck for the first time with 10:11 to go in the third quarter.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Moulton stopped the only two shots she faced in the first half. Sophomore Nicole Mirra (Cicero, N.Y.) played the second half and did not record a save.
- AIC goalkeeper Maggie Kloster stopped 18 of 29 shots in the opening half, while Emily French turned away nine of 16 bids in the second half.
- Sophomores Mazie Burt (Waterford, Vt.) and Evangelina Baldo (Easton, Pa.), as well as senior Nina Liquori (Agawam, Mass.), each scored two goals.
- Sophomore Camdyn Swain (No. Falmouth, Mass.) tallied a goal and an assist.
- Senior Teagan McInnis (Bedford, N.H.) scored a goal and caused three turnovers.
- SNHU outshot AIC, 52-6, including 34-2 in the opening half and 40-3 on goal.
- The Penmen owned advantages in ground balls (21-10) and draw controls (18-6).
- SNHU went a perfect 15-for-15 on its clears, while AIC was just 6-for-20.
- The Penmen were 3-for-5 on their free-position opportunities, while the Yellow Jackets went 0-for-2.
- AIC had 20 of the game's 29 turnovers.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire snapped a four-game losing skid.
- The 19 caused turnovers are tied for the second most in a single game in program history. SNHU caused 22 turnovers in a 23-4 win at Southern Connecticut State University on March 19, 2011. The previous time the Penmen hit 19 was in a 21-1 versus Dominican (N.Y.) University on March 5, 2016.
- The 52 shots are also tied for the second most all-time. The top mark is 59 in a 22-10 win over Southern Connecticut on March 17, 2012, which is the last time they reached 52 shots.
- SNHU leads the all-time series with AIC, 17-3. The Penmen have captured 17 of the last 18 meetings, including six straight. SNHU has also won three-in-a-row on the road versus the Yellow Jackets, last losing at Abdow Field on April 22, 2017 (16-15).
- Hadden now has 154 goals, 95 assists and 246 points for her career, including 100 goals, 67 assists and 164 points during her two years in a Penmen uniform.
- Hadden's three helpers moved her past Emily Mongeau (2009-12) and into seventh place on SNHU's career list.
- The goals for Baldo were the first two of her career, while Liquori's were her first two of the season.
