Peyton Feldman (Foxborough, Mass.) delivered a walk-off double to give Southern New Hampshire softball a 3-2 win over Saint Anselm in the first game of Thursday's NE10 doubleheader. The Hawks scored twice in the seventh to win the second game 5-3 at the SNHU Softball Field.

GAME 1: SNHU 3, Saint Anselm 2 (9 innings)
- The Hawks scored the game's first run in the top of the fifth inning. Alyssa Wironen, who led off with a double and advanced on a Lily Mason single, scored on a groundout by Sarah Cipriani.
- Walks to Feldman and Bruggeman started the SNHU sixth, with each moving up on a sacrifice by sophomore Kaysie DeMoura (Taunton, Mass.). Donovan doubled to left center to put the Penmen in front 2-1.
- A two-out single in the top of the seventh by Cirpriani tied the game for the Hawks.
- In the bottom of the ninth, with two outs, Resetar singled and scored on Feldman's double to center field.
- Donovan improved to 5-0, pitching the final two innings for the Penmen. Sam Ryan went the distance for Saint Anselm, falling to 12-4.
GAME 2: Saint Anselm 5, SNHU 3
- Rose Reitmeyer was the big stick for the Hawks in the second game. She blasted a two-run homer off sophomore Julianna Colbert (Burrillville, R.I.) in the third inning.
- Cipriani doubled in the fifth and scored on a single by Brooke Tardugno to put Saint Anselm in front 3-0.
- The Penmen bounced back in the bottom of the frame to tie.
- Alto, Feldman, and Resetar put together three consecutive singles for a run, Bruggeman had an RBI double, and a third run scored on a dropped pop up.
- Reitmeyer drove in her third run of the day with a two-out single in the top of the seventh as another run scored on an error.
- Resetar led off the bottom of the seventh with a double, but Sophie DiPippo came on to record the final three outs to earn the win for Hawk starter Kendra Lee.
- Donovan relieved Colbert in the circle for the Penmen.
NOTES
- Resetar takes over the team lead with a .394 average. 21 of her 43 hits have been for extra bases including 16 doubles, a triple, and four homers.
- Resetar has reached safely in 12 consecutive contests.
- Feldman has the longest active hit streak at six games.
- The Penmen have a 51-50 lead in the all-time series and the teams have split the last eight meetings.
- Each team receives one point in the Queen City Cup which SNHU leads 21-17.
- SNHU sits in second place in the NE10 standings, trailing only unbeaten Pace.
