Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.) delivered a key two-run double to lift Southern New Hampshire to a 6-4 win in Tuesday's first game, and the Penmen finished off a sweep of Southern Connecticut with a 3-1 win in the nightcap.

GAME 1: SNHU 6, Southern Connecticut 4
- The Penmen rallied twice to tie and moved ahead with three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
- SNHU tied the game in the bottom of the third on a triple by Feldman and a single by Bruggeman.
- Nadia Cestari homered in the fifth to give the Owls a 3-1 lead.
- The Penmen again rallied to tie with a sacrifice fly by Feldman and an RBI single by DeMoura.
- SNHU took advantage of a pair of errors, and added a two-run double by Resetar to move ahead 6-3.
- Cestari hit her second homer of the game in the seventh for a final of 6-4.
- Freitas went the distance in the circle to improve to 10-5 on the season.
- Resetar (3-for-4), Feldman (2-for-3), and Abbott (2-for-3) accounted for seven of the ten hits by the Penmen.
GAME 2: SNHU 3, Southern Connecticut 1
- The Owls would take a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning on a double by Karley Austin and a single by Rachel Miller.
- In the bottom of the third, sophomore Grace Jenkins (Groton, Conn.) singled and moved to third on a single by Resetar.
- Feldman drove in the run with a fielder's choice, Bruggeman reached on an error, and DeMoura singled for a 2-1 lead.
- In the last of the fifth, Resetar walked, Feldman bunted her to second, and Bruggeman delivered a run scoring single.
- Colbert went the distance in the circle, improving to 9-6.
NOTES
- Southern Connecticut has a 47-23-1 lead in the all-time series but the Penmen have taken five of the last six.
- Feldman extended her hitting streak to eleven games with two hits in the opener, but went 0-for-2 in the second game.
- Resetar leads the team with a .383 average which ranks third in the NE10.
- The Penmen have won seven of nine games and are currently tied for second in the NE10 with Saint Anselm, behind only Pace University.
