Sophomore
Charlotte Donovan (Biddeford, Maine) delivered an RBI double and then came on to close out Southern New Hampshire University softball's 4-3 win at Franklin Pierce to earn a split of Sunday's doubleheader. The Ravens took game one by a score of 6-2.

GAME 1: Franklin Pierce 6, SNHU 2
- Franklin Pierce scored four times in the bottom of the second inning and carried that to the victory.
- The Penmen broke through with a pair of runs in the top of the fifth inning.
- Sophomore Mikaya Alto (Chelmsford, Mass.) walked, Feldman singled, and DeMoura singled home the first run. A single by Donovan to left field brought home Feldman to make it 4-2.
- The Ravens added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings for the 6-2 final.
- Senior Amelia Freitas (Plymouth, Mass.) went the distance in the circle for the Penmen, falling to 7-5.
- Feldman and Donovan combined for four of the six SNHU hits.
GAME 2: SNHU 4, Franklin Pierce 3
- The Penmen scored a run in the top of the first inning. Resetar singled and advanced on a groundout and a single by senior Mackenzie Bruggeman (Trumbull, Conn.). A bunt by DeMoura scored Resetar.
- DeMoura was hit by a pitch in the top of the third and scored on Donovan's double to center field to make it 2-0.
- DeMoura knocked in another run when she reached on a fielder's choice, scoring pinch-runner sophomore Kennedy Craigue (Bow, N.H.) who took over after a Resetar single.
- Resetar doubled in the sixth, scoring on a single by Feldman.
- The Ravens picked up a run in the bottom of the sixth to make it 4-1.
- In the last of the seventh, Franklin Pierce loaded the bases on singles and scored a pair of runs on a sacrifice fly and an error. But Donovan struck out Georgia Clough to end the game.
- Colbert improves to 7-4 and Donovan earned her third save.
NOTES
- Resetar has a 10-game on-base streak and leads the Penmen with 15 doubles. She is hitting .366
- Lineman leads the Penmen with a .376 average, five homers, and 32 RBIs.
- The Penmen have a 65-35 lead in the all-time series with Franklin Pierce. The Penmen have won three of the last four, all by one run.
- SNHU sits in third-place in the NE10 with a 5-3 conference mark, trailing Pace and Assumption.
