NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department had 248 of its student-athletes, representing all 18 programs, receive NE10 Spring 2025 Academic Honor Roll recognition, the league office announced Wednesday.

In total, 3,734 NE10 student-athletes earned a grade-point average of 3.0 or better, as the Academic Honor Roll members made up 71 percent of the total number of student-athletes from the 11 NE10 institutions and six associate members. In addition, all 11 NE10 full member institutions had at least 50-percent of their student-athletes on the list. Nine institutions had at least 65 percent of their student-athletes included, with five reaching 70 percent. SNHU slotted in fifth, percentage-wise, at 70 percent (248 of 352). The Penmen also finished third in the league with 51 perfect 4.0 GPAs.

The Academic Honor Roll – formerly the Commissioner's Honor Roll – acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations – Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49 GPA).

In a sport-by-sport breakdown, the Penmen men's ice hockey team placed third in the league in their sport with 23 selections, while men's golf (9) was fourth. Looking just at the institution, baseball led the way for SNHU with 27 honorees, with men's lacrosse (24), women's track & field (24), men's ice hockey and women's lacrosse (21) rounding out the top five.
