Senior Philipp Herrmann (Bruckmuehl, Germany) snapped a scoreless tie in the 25th minute to stake the sixth-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team to a 1-0 lead, but Post University scored with 2:42 remaining in the contest to forge a 1-1 tie Wednesday night at Ouellette Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
  • The Penmen were salting away the 1-0 victory when Mohammad Sanyang sent a cross from right to left where Tiago Feler ran onto it and blasted a shot from the top of the box that found the back of the net and tied the scored.
NOTES
  • Southern New Hampshire, ranked sixth in the initial United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25, is to 2-0-1 for the second time in three seasons.
  • Southern New Hampshire leads the all-time series with Post, 10-2-4, including 8-1-4 at home. The Penmen extend their unbeaten streak at home against the Eagles to nine (5-0-4).
