Senior Meghan Gordon (Attleboro, Mass.) poured in a game-high 20 points, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team was outscored in the fourth quarter as Pace University rallied for a 64-58 Northeast 10 Conference victory Saturday afternoon at the Goldstein Athletics Center.
KEY MOMENTS
- SNHU came out strong, knocking down two first-quarter triples to build an early eight-point advantage before Pace closed the frame on a 10-2 run to take a 20-18 lead after one. The Setters carried a 33-30 edge into halftime in a tightly contested first half.
- The Penmen seized momentum in the third quarter, using a 10-0 run to build a double-digit lead. Junior Ava Winterburn (New Boston, N.H.) and Gordon combined for 14 points in the period, as SNHU took a 51-46 advantage into the final 10 minutes.
- Pace responded in the fourth, outscoring the Penmen 18-7 in the quarter. The Setters regained the lead midway through the period and closed the game on an 11-2 run, converting free throws in the final minute to secure the comeback victory.

- Gordon finished with 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting and added 11 rebounds for her second consecutive double-double and fifth of the season.
- Winterburn totaled 15 points, including three 3-pointers.
