Junior Carlos Molero (Barcelona, Spain) pulled out a three-set victory at No. 3 singles to lift the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team to a 4-3 victory on Sunday in the opener of their Florida trip at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando.

KEY MOMENT
  • With the match tied, 3-3, Molero recorded a 6-4, 1-6, 7-5 win over Daniel Calver at No. 3 singles.
NOTES
  • Molero also won his double match, teaming with freshman Aurel Creveuil (Nanterre, France) for a 6-3 victory at No. 2 against Jan Stolin and Reuben Bakker.
  • Creveuil doubled up Simone Pacciolla in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 2 singles.
  • Sophomore Marcos Castaneda (Madrid, Spain) is now 7-1 on the year, following his 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 triumph over Jaden Bender at No. 5 singles.
  • This was the first meeting between the two teams.
