The Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse team fell to top-ranked Adelphi University, 22-4, on Sunday afternoon at Ouellette Stadium in Northeast 10 Conference action. Graduate student
Christian Perez (Methuen, Mass.) scored his first goal of the season, while the Panthers used a dominant first half to seize control.
KEY MOMENTS
- Adelphi struck early and often, scoring five goals in the opening quarter and adding nine more in the second to take a 14-0 lead into halftime.
- The Panthers extended the run to 17-0 before sophomore Cole Summers (Derry, N.H.) put SNHU on the board at 4:04 of the third quarter.
- Adelphi answered with two more goals before the Penmen added three in the fourth quarter, including strikes from junior Patrick Roy (North Andover, Mass.), Perez and sophomore Lasse Volquardsen (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Perez's goal came at 5:28 of the fourth quarter off an assist from Volquardsen, marking his first score of the 2026 campaign.
NOTES
- Summers, Roy, Perez and Volquardsen each scored once for SNHU, while sophomore PJ Cunningham (Bronx, N.Y.) dished out two assists.
- Senior goalkeeper John Batchelor (Longmeadow, Mass.) made eight saves in 40:16, while sophomore Tyler LeBlanc (Derry, N.H.) recorded six saves over the final 19:44.
- Adelphi held advantages in shots (50-29), ground balls (35-22) and faceoffs (24-6), controlling possession throughout the contest.
- The Panthers improve to 4-0 in the NE10 and improve to 17-0 all-time against the Penmen.
