Freshman Aurel Creveuil (Nanterre, France) earned a pair of wins, including his No. 2 singles victory that clinched the match, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team cruised to a 6-1 victory against Saint Michael's College on Saturday at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.

KEY MOMENTS
  • Southern New Hampshire led, 3-1, when Creveuil posted a 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) victory against Viktor Boban at No. 2 singles.
  • The Penmen earned the doubles point when sophomore Marcos Castaneda (Madrid, Spain) and freshman Tristan Chandler (APO (Armed Forces-Europe)) doubled up Ferm Koppelmans and Richard Lin, 6-3, at No. 3.
NOTES
  • Southern New Hampshire has won five of its last seven, including two straight.
  • Creveuil also combined with junior Carlos Molero (Barcelona, Spain) to blank Jamie MacPherson and Simon Lundholm, 6-0, at No. 2 doubles.
  • Molero was a 6-2, 6-3 winner over MacPherson at No. 3 singles.
  • Sophomore Vicente Preto (Sesimbra, Portugal) rallied for a 1-6, 6-4, 10-6 triumph at the top flight against Garrett Brooker.
  • Castaneda improved to 11-3 on the season with a 6-4, 6-2 victory against Koppelmans at No. 5.
  • SNHU leads the all-time series with Saint Michael's, 22-6, and has won 21 of the last 22 meetings. SNHU has also won 13 consecutive matches at home in the series. The last time the Purple Knights defeated the Penmen at SNHU was April 8, 2009 (5-4).
