Lois Tsui (Amsterdam, Netherlands) did not drop a game the entire match, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team blanked Colby-Sawyer College, 7-0, Tuesday at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.
KEY MOMENTS
- Tsui clinched the match with her 6-0, 6-0 victory over Sky Jara at No. 2 singles.
- Abadzic followed by making it 5-0 in favor of the Penmen with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at No. 1 singles against Payton Dugan.
- The duo also clinched the doubles point earlier in the match with a 6-0 shutout of Jara and Avery Nielsen at No. 1.
NOTES
- SNHU has now won six of its last eight, including four-in-a-row.
- Freshmen Megan Leck (Wolviston, Billingham, U.K.), Eyglo Armannsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland), Lucia Dusseljee (Helmond, Netherlands) and Natalia Lyekontseva (Kyiv, Ukraine) also captured singles wins, with no one dropping more than two games in a set.
- Abadzic and Tsui, ranked 49th in the nation by the ITA, improve to 15-3 on the season.
