The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 defeat against Assumption University on Wednesday afternoon at the Westboro Tennis & Swim Club.

NOTES
  • The match, which was moved indoors, was only played until one team clinched due to court availability.
  • Southern New Hampshire had won six of its last eight, including three straight.
  • The NE10 Championship picture is becoming clearer for the Penmen, who will be the No. 3 seed if they defeat Bentley University on Thursday and the No. 4 seed if they lose to the Falcons. SNHU will host the NE10 Championship at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts on April 30-May 1.
  • Sophomore Marcos Castaneda (Madrid, Spain) lost at No. 5 singles and falls to 12-3 on the season.
  • SNHU, which leads the all-time series with Assumption, 18-5, entered the season with a 10-match winning streak against the Greyhounds, but has now lost both meetings in 2025-26. The Penmen had entered the day 8-0 on the road against Assumption.
