Sophomore Lois Tsui (Amsterdam, Netherlands) recorded a pair of wins to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team to a 4-3 triumph over the College of the Holy Cross on Wednesday afternoon at the Sinnott Family Tennis Center.

KEY MOMENT
  • Southern New Hampshire trailed 2-1 when Tsui recorded a 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 victory over Hannah Flynn at No. 2 singles.
  • With the match tied, 3-3, freshman Lucia Dusseljee (Helmond, Netherlands) gave SNHU the victory by pulling out a 6-0, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2 win versus Mia Romo at No. 6 singles.
NOTES
  • SNHU halts its two-match losing skid and has now won three of its last five.
  • Tsui also teamed with junior Dajana Abadzic (Weinstadt, Germany) to edge Phoebe Devine and Margaret Winiecki, 6-4, at the top doubles flight. The duo improves to 12-3 on the season and has won five-in-a-row.
  • Freshman Megan Leck (Wolviston, Billingham, U.K.) breezed to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Maddie Hamm at No. 3 singles.
  • Freshman Eyglo Armannsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland) made quick work of Alison Lynn at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
  • SNHU improves to 4-0 all-time against Holy Cross.
WHAT'S NEXT
  • The Penmen are back in action Thursday (April 9) at 3 p.m. when they head back to Worcester to take on Assumption University.
  • SNHU is back home Saturday, April 11 (4 p.m.) when it plays host to Saint Michael's College at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts.
