Women's Tennis Duo Honored with CSC Academic All-District Team Nods

Abadzic and Tsui are both eligible for Academic All-America recognition

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Junior Dajana Abadzic (Weinstadt, Germany) and sophomore Lois Tsui (Amsterdam, Netherlands) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team were selected to the Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, last week.

Abadzic and Tsui finished 18-6 on the season, including 16-5 at the top flight, and went 9-3 in NE10 play. The duo, ranked as high as 46th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Rankings, won nine-in-a-row from March 2-April 18. They were chosen for the NE10 All-Conference Second Team at No. 1 doubles

Abadzic, a marketing major with a 3.62 grade-point average, finished 12-12 in singles play, competing primarily at the top flight, including 6-6 in the NE10.

Tsui earned collected an individual honor with an NE10 All-Conference Third Team pick at No. 2 singles. She went 15-7 on the year, including 12-4 at No. 2 singles and 7-4 in NE10 play. Tsui is a psychology major with a 3.89 GPA.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists, which Abadzic and Tsui are, are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 2.
