Women's Cross Country Predicted Second In NE10

Penmen Receive First Place Vote

NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's cross country team has been predicted to finish second this season. The preseason poll has the Penmen with 62 points, including one first-place vote, in voting by the Northeast 10 women's cross country coaches.

Southern Connecticut State University was selected as the preseason favorite, receiving 80 points and eight of the 10 first-place votes. SNHU followed with 62 points and one first-place vote, while Bentley University was third with 57 points and the remaining first-place vote. Adelphi University (55) and Saint Anselm College (51) rounded out the top five. Saint Michael's College (46), Assumption University (41), Franklin Pierce University (31), American International College (14) and Pace University (13) completed the rankings of the league's 10 programs.

Head Coach Kelly Vincent, entering her second season, and Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Lex Butler have a roster of 10 runners, including three newcomers. Seniors Deirdre Bailat (North Billerica, Mass.), Kora Hay (Coventry, R.I.), Natalie Sicard (Nottingham, N.H.) and Erika Wojcik (North Andover, Mass.) headline the returning group. Juniors Hope Hanafin (Burlington, Mass.) and and sophomore Faith Perry (Pawtucket, R.I.), also return for the Penmen.

Junior Trinity Williamson (Spofford, N.H.), and freshmen Maddy Howard (Haverhill, Mass.), Kalison Marzolf (Derry, N.H.) and Audrey Yann (Dracut, Mass.) are the four newcomers to the 2026 roster.
