Carlos Molero (Barcelona, Spain) rallied for a three-set victory at No. 4 singles to clinch the match, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team posted a 5-2 win against Saint Michael's College on Sunday in the team's dual-match and NE10 openers at the SMC Tennis Courts.

- SNHU trailed, 1-0, after losing the doubles point, but reeled off five straight singles wins, including Molero's 6-7 (4-7), 6-1, 6-4 triumph over Benji Deshayes at No. 4 to clinch the victory.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire begins the season 1-0 for the first time since the 2023-24 campaign.
- Junior Vicente Preto (Sesimbra, Portugal) also rallied for a three-set victory at No. 1 singles, taking down Garrett Brooker, 1-6, 6-4, 6-2.
- Sophomore Aurel Creveuil (Nanterre, France) was the third Penmen to pull out a three-set win, tallying a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 victory against Viktor Boban at No. 2. He was the only Penmen to win both of his matches, as he teamed with freshman Alexandre Guilcher (Cadaujac, France) to edge Jamie Macpherson and Ferm Koppelmans, 6-4, at No. 3 doubles.
- SNHU leads the all-time series with Saint Michael's, 23-6, and has won 22 of the last 23 meetings, including three-in-a-row. SNHU has also won nine of 10 on the road in the series.
