BRONX, N.Y. - The Southern New Hampshire University men's and women's cross country teams sent a total of four runners to Saturday's NCAA Division II Northeast Regional hosted by Adelphi University at Van Cortlandt Park.

In the 10K men's race, junior Alex Brown (Hudson, NH) finished 46th overall out of 140 runners, competing the course in a time of 35:06. Classmate Nick Watts (Pittsfield, NH) was 59th overall, finishing with a time of 35:50.

In the 6K women's race, Svea Dellea-Messner (Windham, NH) finished 60th out of 128 runners with a time of 26:07. Freshman Melissa Hurley (Ashaway, RI) came in 71st with a 26:45 effort.
