COLCHESTER, Vt. -
The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team
finished 12th overall at the 2008 Northeast-10
Championship hosted by Saint Michael's College on Saturday
afternoon.
Senior Alex Brown
(Hudson, NH) paced the Penmen, finishing 53rd overall
with a time of 27:54. Sam Tarrant
(Cleverdale, NY) was the next highest finisher for SNHU, as he
finished the eight kilometer course in 29:45 to place
85th. Jason Bays (Cresco, PA)
finished 95th with a time of 30:18, while
Kevin Coyle (Salem, NH) came home 101st
in a time of 31:12.
Matt Caredeo
(Salem, NH) was one spot behind Coyle with a 31:27 effort, while
Michael Smith (Lynnfield, MA) finished in 31:50,
good for 106th. Matt Gray
(Haverhill, MA) was 115th with a time of 33:38, while
Brian White (Windham, NH) rounded out the Penmen
finishers with a time of 36:37 to place 123rd.
The SNHU men's cross country team
closes out the 2008 season November 9 when it competes in the NCAA
East regional in Boston.
