SNHU stormed out to a 10-2 lead less than four minutes into the game following a Troy Bowen (Nashua, NH) three and led 16-8 with 12:54 left in the first half when the Skyhawks went on a 13-1 run to take a 21-17 lead with 6:32 left on a Rosario basket.  The Penmen would tie the game with just under four and a half minutes left on a fast break basket by Carter that made it 23-23.  Stonehill would take a 31-28 lead into the locker room.
