MANCHESTER, N.H. -
Senior Alex Brown (Hudson, NH) placed eighth
overall to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men's cross
country team at Saturday's Shacklette Invitational hosted by Saint
Anselm College. As a team the Penmen placed sixth.
Brown traversed the eight kilometer
course in a time of 28:42. Sam Tarrant
(Cleverdale, NY) was the next finished for the Penmen as he
finished 30th with a time of 31:48. Freshman
Kevin Coyle (Salem, NH) placed 37th
with a 33:44 effort.
Senior Matt
Caredeo (Salem, NH) finished 40th with a time
of 34:39, while Matt Gray (Haverhill, MA) was next
with a time of 35:29 to finish 43rd.
Michael Smith (Lynnfield, MA) was 44th
with a 35:46 effort.
SNHU returns to action next
Saturday at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
