WENHAM, Mass. -
The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team
finished 16th out of 24 schools at the Pop Crowell
Invitational hosted by Gordon College Saturday morning.
Sophomore Jason
Bays (Cresco, Pa.) was the leading SNHU runner, as he
placed 81st overall with an 8K time of 30:23.
Sam Tarrant (Cleverdale, N.Y.) finished 14 seconds
behind Bays to place 85th overall, while Kevin
Coyle (Salem, N.H.) was 96th with a time of
31:10. Michael Smith (Lynnfield, Mass.)
posted a 31:26 effort to place 103rd.
Tyler Parks
registered a time of 32:44, while Matt Gray
(Haverhill, Mass.) (36:21) and Brian White
(Windham, N.H.) (37:06) rounded out the Penmen finishers.
The SNHU men's cross country team
returns to action next Saturday when it competes at the New England
Championship at Boston's Franklin Park.
