MOBILE, Ala.
– Senior Amber Chandronnait (Bow, N.H.) of
the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team was
victorious on day two of the National Small College Championships
Friday. Chandronnait defeated Maureen Rielley of Rockhurst
University 6-4, 6-1. Chandronnait rallied in the first set
after going down 2-0, then jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the second
set en route to victory.
Chandronnait wraps up her
tournament Saturday in the fifth place match by playing Elenora
Iannozzi of Lynn University. Iannozzi was a 6-2, 6-0 winner
over Amy Andersen of Colorado Christian Friday.
