BOSTON - The Southern New Hampshire University
men's cross country team placed 47th at Saturday's New
England Championships at Franklin Park.
Freshman Mike Giberti (Derry, N.H.) was the top SNHU finisher,
completing the 8K course in a time of 28:53. Jason Bays
(Cresco, Pa.) registered a 29:50 effort, while Kevin Coyle (Salem,
N.H.) recorded a time of 30:36. Tyler Parks (Moultonborough,
N.H.) traversed the course in a time of 31:27.
Sam Tarrant (Cleverdale, N.Y.) finished four seconds behind Parks,
while Mike Smith (Lynnfield, Mass.) had a time of 32:07. Doug
Coulters (Weare, N.H.) recorded a time of 34:21.
SNHU returns to action October 22 at the Golden Knights Joust
hosted by The College of Saint Rose.
