SNHU DII ADA ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

MANCHESTER, N.H.
– A total of 26 Southern New Hampshire University
student-athletes were recently named recipients of the Division II
Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) Academic Achievement
Awards presented by WeatherPORT. The Academic Achievement
Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of
student-athletes at the Division II level.
In order for a student-athlete to
receive an Academic Achivement Award, he/she must have a cumulative
grade point average of 3.5 or higher, have completed a minimum of
two years of college level work, and have been a member of an
intercollegiate team during the last academic year.
The Northeast-10 Conference led all
Division II conferences, with 350 student-athletes nominated.
11 of SNHU's 15 varsity intercollegiate programs had at least
one member honored, with men's ice hockey and women's
tennis each having four student-athletes honored.
