WENHAM, Mass. - The Southern New Hampshire
University men's cross country team finished 14th out of
22 schools at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College
Saturday.
Senior Garrett Hammond (Haverhill, Mass.) was
the leading SNHU runner, as he placed 60th overall with
an 8K time of 29:41. Kevin Coyle (Salem,
N.H.) finished 104th overall, while Tom
Philips (Madison, Conn.) was 126th with a time
of 32:15. Tyler Parks (Moultonborough, N.H.)
posted a 32:41 effort to place 134th.
Jason Grotton (China, Maine)
registered a time of 34:52, while Matt Gray
(Haverhill, Mass.) (35:47), Robert Gray
(Haverhill, Mass.) (39:24) and Michael Brennan
(South Easton, Mass.) (41:41) rounded out the Penmen finishers.
The SNHU men's cross country team returns to action next
Saturday when it competes at the New England Championship at
Boston's Franklin Park. The race is set to begin at 1:15 p.m.
