Franklin Pierce used a 7-0 spurt midway through  the first half capped by a layup by Marielle Giroud at the 9:28 mark to build a 19-9 advantage.  The Ravens took their largest lead of the first half, 31-16, with just over two minutes remaining on a layup by White, and carried a 34-20 lead into the locker room.

Southern New Hampshire opened the second half on a 12-5 run to cut the Franklin Pierce lead in half, and a layup by Sorrell at the 15:41 mark made it 39-32.  The Ravens countered with nine unanswered points and a White layup with 12:16 remaining would make it 48-32.

FPU took its largest lead on a Saab three-point play with 9:41 left that made it 51-34.  The hosts would chip away at the lead and a three-pointer by Michelle DeRoma (West Roxbury, Mass.) with four minutes to play pulled the Penmen within 10, 48-38.  That would be as close as Southern New Hampshire would get until a layup by Sorrell with 43 seconds to go made it 60-51.
