Student-Athlete Spotlight: Frank O'Connor

Senior captain Frank O'Connor (Arlington, Mass.) has a big role this season—as one of only two seniors on a squad comprised of 20 freshmen and sophomores.  In this week's Student-Athlete Spotlight, O'Connor gives some insight into what life is like when he is off the ice.

Name: Frank O'Connor

Major: Business Administration

Pregame routine: I eat a chicken parmesan dinner the night before, sleep in, take an active warm-up in which I wear the same outfit, and I drink lots of water.

The moment I am most proud of: Coming back from a severe ankle injury during my post graduate year and now playing college hockey.

Favorite Athlete:  Ray Bourque.  He was a great icon for the city of Boston and a great leader for the Boston Bruins.

Favorite meal in the SNHU Dining Center: Chicken Picatta.

If I were stranded on a desert island I would bring: my cell phone, food, and a beach chair.

What's on my iPod: Country music: Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, etc.

In five years: I'll be coaching at a Division I hockey program.

One item I can't live without: my cell phone.

An interesting place I've been: I have visited the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.  I would like to visit Italy one day.
