MANCHESTER, N.H. –
Senior Jason Bays (Cresco, Pa.) led the
Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country team with a
40th place finish as they finished seventh at the Shacklette
Invitational hosted by Saint Anselm College on Saturday
afternoon.
Bays completed the eight kilometer course in
a time of 31:02 to lead the Penmen. Kevin
Coyle (Salem, Mass.) was the next-highest SNHU finisher,
finishing with a time of 32:06 to place 49th.
Tyler Parks (Moultonborough, N.H.) traversed the
course in 33:13, while Doug Coulters (Weare, N.H.)
finished close behind in 52nd place with a time of 33:15
and Matt Gray (Haverhill, Mass.) finished with a
time of 35:08 coming in 54th.
Jason Grotton (China, Maine)
finished with a time of 39:39, while Robert Gray
(Haverhill, Mass.) finished with the time of 39:44. Michael
Brennan (South Easton, Mass.) rounded out the SNHU finishers with a
41:07 effort.
SNHU returns to action Saturday, September 17
when it competes at the Umass Dartmouth Invitational at 12:00
p.m.
