Boston, Mass.—The Southern New Hampshire
University men's cross country team finished 24th out of 26 at the
Codfish Bowl held at Franklin Park in Boston. Garrett
Hammond (Haverhill, Mass.) led the Penmen with a time of
30:05 in the 8k race.
Jason Bays (Cresco, Pa.)finished with a time
of 30:48, followed by
Kevin Coyle (Salem, N.H.)
who came in at 31:47.
Tom Phillips (Madison,
Conn.)was the next Penmen runner to cross the finish line with a
time of 32:47.
Tyler Parks (Moultonborough, N.H.) came in
next, finishing with a time of 35:22, followed by
Jason
Grotton (China, Maine) with a time of 36:04 and
Matt Gray (Haverhill, Mass.), who finished at
37:55.
Michael Brennan (South Easton, Mass.) rounded
out the Penmen lineup with a time of 40:40.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action next weekend, traveling
to Gordon College on Saturday for the Pop Crowell Invitational. The
race begins at 11:30 a.m.
