WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire men's cross country team placed 33^rd out of 40 teams Saturday at the James Earley Invitational.

Garrett Hammond (Haverhill, Mass.) crossed the finish line first for the Penmen while placing 276^th and recording a time of 30:54. Nathaniel Stiles (Berlin, N.H.) would finish after Hammond placing 276^th with a time of 31:32, and Doug Coulters (Weare, N.H.) finished 285^th with a time of 31:44.

The Penmen return to action Saturday, October 20 when they compete in the Northeast-10 Championship at 11:00 a.m.
