Box Score HOOKSETT, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire ice hockey team recorded its first win Saturday in the Manchester PAL/Stovepipe Tournament beating Johnson and Wales University for the third place spot. The Penmen are now 1-2-1, while the Wildcats fall to 2-6 overall.
Nick Riccio (Wilmington, Mass.) would start the scoring off for the Penmen half way through the first period when he recorded his second goal of the season from Jim Gabrione (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Jim O'Connor (Alrington, Mass.) at the 8:26 mark. However, Johnson and Wales would answer when Daniel Chang would tally his fourth goal of the season just two minutes later to tie the game at 1-1 heading into the second period.

Berry's goal came just 4:24 into the second period, and would be the game winner as neither team scored again in the game.
