DARTMOUTH, Mass.- The Southern New Hampshire
men's cross country team competed in the UMass Dartmouth 8k
run Saturday afternoon. The team would finish 37th out
of 39th on the day.
The first SNHU finisher was Garrett Hammond
(Haverhill, Mass.) who finished the 8k in 216th place
with a 29:45 time. Freshman Nathaniel Stiles
(Berlin, N.H.) would finish three seconds after Hammond in
221st place with a 29:48 time. Greg
Tinkham (Alton Bay, N.H.) would also finish among his
teammates while placing 235th and running the 8k in
30:20.
MIT would win the race while finishing three runners in the top
ten.
The Penmen return to action Friday, September 21 when they
travel to Rivier University for the Rivier University Invitational
for a 4:30 p.m. race start.
