NASHUA, N.H.- The Southern New Hampshire
men's cross country team placed 7th out of eight
teams at the Rivier Invitational Friday afternoon.
Sophomore Garrett Hammond (Haverhill, Mass.)
was the top Penmen finisher while placing 28th and
running the 8k race in a time of 28:33.
Freshman Chris Low (Hudson, N.H.) finished just
five places behind Hammond with a time of 28:49, and classmate
Nathaniel Stiles (Berlin, N.H.) placed
35th with a 28:52 8k time.
The Penmen return to action Saturday, September 29 when they
compete in the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College. The race
is set to start at 11:30 a.m.
