WESTFIELD, Mass.
– The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross
country team finished 15th out of 35 teams Saturday at
the James Earley Invitational hosted at Stanley Park.
Senior Thomas
Dorwaldt (Albany, N.Y.) was the top Penmen finished,
coming home 83rd overall with an 8K time of 28:15,
matching the 19th-best time in program history.
Freshman Jacob Wormald (Pelham, N.H.0 was
102nd overall at 28:40, while grad student
Matthew Reinhold (Candia, N.H.) placed
111th with a 28:55 effort. Junior Chris
Low (Hudson, N.H.) finished at 29:16, good for
127th in the field of 347.
Freshman Josh
Szymanski (Sewickley, Pa.) was 141st overall
with a time of 29:24, while sophomore Michael
Bisbee (Ashburnham, Mass.) was 152nd with a
29:34. Senior Tom Philips (Madison, Conn.)
finished in 30:50 to place 210th and round out the SNHU
finishers.
Southern New Hampshire returns to
action Sunday, October 27 at the Northeast-10 Championship hosted
by Saint Anselm College.
