MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New
Hampshire University men's cross country team placed
14th at the Northeast-10 Championship Sunday afternoon
at Saint Anselm College.
Matthew Reinhold (Candia, N.H.) finished first
for the Penmen placing 99th and finishing the race in a
time of 28:37. Jacob Wormald (Pelham, N.H.) and
Chris Low (Hudson, N.H.) finished just two spots
behind Reinhold at 101 and 102 with times of 28:43, and 28:44,
respectively. Michael Bisbee (Ashburnham, Mass.)
placed 108th with a time of 29:01, and Justin
Barcomb (Burlington, Vt.) rounded out the top five for
SNHU with a time of 29:31.
Stonehill College totaled 57 points to take the championship,
while Franklin Pierce was the runner up with 74 points. American
International, Southern Connecticut State, and Adelphi were also
amongst the top five finishers in the championship.
