Box Score EASTON, Mass. – Mary Louise Dixon finished with 21 points to lead No. 14 Stonehill College to a 71-62 Northeast-10 women's basketball victory over Southern New Hampshire University at Merkert Gym Saturday afternoon. The Skyhawks improve to 7-2 and 4-1 in the NE-10, while the Penmen are now 5-3 and 3-2 in the league.
Dixon finished 7-15 from the floor and also finished with nine assists, six rebounds and six steals. Amy Pelletier was the other Skyhawk in double figures as she finished with 18 points on 7-11 shooting.
Sophomore Amra Elezovic (Manchester, N.H.) led Southern New Hampshire with 21 points on 9-15 shooting, while Kaylea Griffin (Green Springs, Ohio) and Erin Doherty (Marshfield, Mass.) each finished with eight points.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Tuesday night when it travels to Assumption College for a 5:30 Northeast-10 contest.
