THE PENMEN: The Penmen won their sixth straight game this past Wednesday while sweeping Saint Michael's...Kelsea Cheney became the all-time career hit leader earlier this week with her three hits to put her total at 160, surpassing the previous 157 record...the senior is batting .397 on the season with a team-best 29 hits including six doubles and 14 RBIs...classmate Kate Stanley has compiled a .243 batting average with a team-high 20 RBIs and five home runs on 18 hits... while Ali Maloof has 28 hits, nine doubles, and seven RBIs for a team-best .400 batting average...the sophomore has also totaled 100 strikeouts on the season and a 2.43 era...Dolors Mattice carries team best of 2.42 in the circle and posts 52 strikeouts.
THE SKYHAWKS: Stonehill is coming off two losses against American Int'l College this past Wednesday...junior Jocelynne Morrell is leading the Skyhawks with a .372 batting average...Nicole Eisenmann is batting .359 for Stonehill with a team high seven home runs...Megan Ruonavaara has a 2.67 era in the circle while totaling a team-best 73 strikeouts...the pitching staff has compiled a 3.16 era.
HEAD TO HEAD: SNHU is 25-27 all-time against Stonehill. Last season SNHU swept the Skyhawks with scores of 3-2 and 1-0.
