LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Junior Julianna Colbert (Burrillville, R.I.) of the Southern New Hampshire softball team has been named to the 2026 NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year Watchlist.
One hundred and eighteen student-athletes from across the country were revealed as part of the 2026 NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year watchlist on Wednesday. Voted on by the NFCA's Division II All-American Committee, the 2026 NFCA Player of the Year and NFCA/Portolite Pitcher of the Year will be announced on May 27, a day prior to the start of the NCAA Division II National Championships.
Colbert, who twice this season has been named the Northeast 10 Pitcher of the Week, has won her last six starts including both last weekend at Pace University. For the season, Colbert is 7-2 with a 2.02 ERA. She has struck out 78 batters in 62.1 innings pitched.
The home opener for the Penmen is at the SNHU Softball Field this Friday, April 3 (2:30 p.m.) against Adelphi University.
